Effective May 1, 2013, all Claims Transfers will be required to be filed using a CM/ECF Limited Login. A new fee of $25 will be charged for each claim transferred.

Creditors are required to file Transfers of Claim (Bankruptcy Official Form 210A) electronically.

The Official Form 210A must be attached. Supplemental documentation to the Transfer of Claim may be attached.

Rule 5005(a)(2) permits a court by local rule to permit the filing, signing, and verifying of documents electronically. Filing a Transfer of Claim electronically deems the Transfer of Claim signed.

Penalty for making a false statement: Fine of up to $500,000 imprisonment for up to 5 years, or both. 18 U.S.C. §§ 152 and 3571.
