Effective December 1, 2011:
The court has entered an Administrative Order which adapts the Court's procedure for conduit mortgages in Chapter 13 cases to revised Bankruptcy Rule 3001, new Bankruptcy Rule 3002.1, and the new official forms, effective December 1, 2011. Real Property Creditors will use the new official forms (Form B 10 (Attachment A), Form B 10 (Supplement 1), and Form B 10 (Supplement 2)) and revised Local Form 14. Local Form 15 will no longer be used.

Announcement Regarding New Bankruptcy Judge:
We are pleased to announce that the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit has appointed Laura Beyer to the position of U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of North Carolina. Ms. Beyer will succeed the Honorable George R. Hodges upon his retirement in November 2011 and will be stationed in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ms. Beyer attended Davidson College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1993. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill in 1998. Prior to her appointment, Ms. Beyer served as the permanent law clerk to Judge Hodges and worked as an attorney at Smith Helms Mulliss & Moore, L.L.P.
The Judges and staff of the Bankruptcy Court for the Western District offer Laura warmest congratulations. We look forward to serving with her. (posted 7/11/2011)

Quarterly fee payments may be paid electronically through CM/ECF, by attorney trust account check, cashier's check, certified funds, or postal money order made payable to "Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court."
