MAY CHAPTER 7 HEARING DATE RESCHEDULED 

The Chapter 7 hearing date originally scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2026, before Judge Ashley Edwards, will now be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.  For questions, please email edwards_hearings@ncwb.uscourts.gov.

WEEKLY CALENDARS

Hearings for the week of February 9-13, are scheduled as follows:

  • Tuesday, February 10 
  • Thursday, February 12
  • Friday, February 13 (Shelby)

Calendars are posted on the monthly court calendar on the respective hearing date.

REMINDERS:

DISPOSITIONS: Please email hearing dispositions by 4:30 p.m. the day before the hearing. Receiving dispositions by this time greatly assists the Court with hearing preparation. Thank you.

SPECIAL SETTINGS: Attorneys are reminded that they must obtain a special setting for hearings that may take longer than 30 minutes by emailing your request to edwards_hearings@ncwb.uscourts.gov (link sends e-mail).  Include all parties involved, the estimated hearing time, and a proposed scheduling time frame.

CHAPTER 7 HEARINGS

In 2026, Chapter 7 hearings are scheduled twice a month on Thursdays; however, some dates remain on Mondays. Please check the court's calendar to confirm the correct hearing date prior to filing Notices of Hearing.
