Adoption of SBRA Interim Rules as Revised by the CARES Act and Notice of Revised Official Forms

Wednesday, April 22, 2020

After the court entered Administrative Order No. 1002 on December 23, 2019 to adopt certain interim federal rules pursuant to the Small Business Reorganization Act (the “SBRA”), the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the “CARES Act”) was signed into law.  The CARES Act requires the amendment of one of the previously-adopted interim rules.  The court’s new Administrative Order (No. 1012) adopts the interim rules as revised by the CARES Act, and the revised interim rules are attached to the order.  In addition, Administrative Order No. 1012 provides notice of revisions to certain Official Forms required by the CARES Act.
