Notices of Hearing should include the Microsoft Teams link and dial-in information in place of the physical hearing location. 

APPEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Attorneys
All attorneys are required to appear by video using Microsoft Teams and must connect to the courtroom by 9:00 a.m. Parties may begin connecting to the courtroom as early as 8:45 a.m.

  
Pro Se Debtors
All pro se debtors must appear by telephone using the dial-in information provided below and must connect to the courtroom by 9:00 a.m.  Pro se debtors may begin connecting to the courtroom as early as 8:45 a.m.  Failure to appear as directed may result in the Court proceeding in your absence. 
Upon connecting:
    •    Please mute your telephone by pressing *6
    •    When your case is called, press *6 again to unmute and speak.
    •    After your matter has concluded, you may disconnect the call. 

Equipment Testing:  Anyone wishing to test their equipment must email Chambers at edwards_hearings@ncwb.uscourts.gov no later than April 22, 2026, to schedule testing. 
 Technical Difficulties on the Day of Hearing: Any party experiencing technical difficulties on the day of the hearing must immediately contact Chambers at (704) 350-7541 or the Bankruptcy Court Clerk’s Office at  (704) 350-7500. 

Any party who attempts to connect after 9:00 a.m. assumes the risk of being unable to connect to the courtroom before the start of the hearing at promptly 9:30 a.m.
