As described in the court’s October 13 and 14 announcements, the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) is experiencing a nationwide disruption resulting from a cybersecurity incident. The incident has halted the BNC’s production and distribution of bankruptcy notices on behalf of bankruptcy courts, including the service of notices of meetings of creditors pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 341.
At this time, the court has decided not to enter any district-wide administrative orders. Instead, the court will address issues arising from the disruption on a case-by-case basis. Parties and attorneys seeking relief as a result of the disruption are encouraged to file an appropriate motion for the court’s consideration.
The court will continue to monitor the situation and take appropriate action as necessary.
Debtor Electronic Noticing (DeBN), a service of the BNC, is also affected and is currently down.
